Getting a Handle on Lyon
Posted on June 22, 2014
We wandered the streets of Lyon, up and down. We appreciated the architecture, the roof lines, the building materials and colors, the paving materials and textures, the windows and window boxes with flowers, the mailboxes. Everything was exotic to our eyes. Even the doorknobs. Let’s take a look at them now, and then finish off with a few bollards that kept cars and trucks in their place.
Now let’s take a look at those bollards. There were various other types but I failed to record them at the time, too distracted by handles and other details of Gaelic life.
