It was getting time for me to head back to the States so we positioned ourselves in a very nice place not far from Hamburg, again pretty much out in the country close to a forest. We were so fortunate to be able to coordinate with our daughter Suzi to fly up from Portugal and be with us for four days. Then while I flew home, Suzi and Eva went on to the North Sea island of Hallig Hooge for a spell. Eva’s brother lives near Börnsen and we managed to spend a day with him and Gine, as well.

This is what travel has come down to. Everybody is connected. Sometimes we hardly feel there is great distance separating us from our friends. I like it that way.
